Getting the Source
NOTE WELL: there may be patents and/or other intellectual property rights associated with use of the CAPWAP protocol. We are doing our best to maintain an untainted source tree, but you are hereby advised to be fully aware of your potential obligations with respect to any related intellectual property claims prior to reviewing and/or using this code.
In order to view the source, you must login by clicking the "login" option in the menu bar (above) and entering the following username and password:
username: getcapwap
password: getcapwap
NOTE: this login will be periodically changed, and when that occurs you will need to return to this page for the new info.
Once you log in, you'll notice the menu bar (above) has been extended to include a "Browse Source" selection. Click it! Note that this gives you read-only access to the code. If you are interested in joining the project as a contributor, stay tuned for further details.
Checking the code out from svn
If you want to download a copy of the code, use the following command:
svn co https://svn.opencapwap.org/repos/opencapwap
Of course, this assumes you have subversion installed locally. Assuming you do, this will create a local opencapwap directory containing the source code.
Note regarding openssl
The current distribution includes a modified version of openssl-0.9.8a which includes some private patches for DTLS, as well as some patches for preshared key support provided by Nokia employees (the psk patches have been extended to support preshared keys in DTLS as well). The related functionality is pending in the current openssl cvs repository, so once that is released, the openssl portion of this distribution will be removed, and users will then be required to download openssl source from openssl.org.
May the source be with you!
